Today we officially launch! I’ve been very excited for this day, but at the same time incredibly nervous. I think the nerves are partially coming from the fact that it’s been so hard to explain what Make Room is all about, because secretly, I don’t really know myself. It’s definitely going to be a wonderful platform for me to share on things I’m passionate about, and an output for some of my creative endeavours, but where it would take me is still a mystery. I cannot thank God enough for planting this in my heart, it’s been so fulfilling trying to get this thing going. Even though I see Make Room as a side project for now, I can...

Ter makes coffee

This is my friend Ter, short for Terence. Since getting to know him (probably about a decade ago), we’ve shared countless conversations on things we are both passionate about. In May 2019 I signed up for the Instagram page, drew up some logo options, but pretty much left it at that. This photo was from the first film roll that I had developed myself. Since then, Make Room had always been in the back of my mind, and there were things along the way that reminded me to really get this thing started. When COVID-19 hit, and lockdowns were in place, it forced me to make room for things I’ve always wanted to do. I wanted time to rest, I wanted to work on my relationship with...
